Changing the future, not just the current situation
Outreach
The Outreach Ministry is committed to changing the lives of people in our community by offering services such as feeding the homeless,
an outreach to pray with the homeless as well as providing clothes and much needed supplies such as soap, toothpaste and other items.
The youth programs provide the support for today’s children, adolescents and teenagers in order to develop them into well-rounded productive adults. Several youth conferences are offered during the year to address issues that affect youths. The youth are mentored and are also encouraged to bring new ideas and issues that they encounter in the family, community and school. For example, in the month of February, the Educate Youth Seminar in “Black History” promotes self-identity and self-esteem, builds character, encourages knowledge transfer between the youths, and is fun. This summers there will be free seminars on "Learning Technology", "Filming Production" and "Simple Writing". The homeless outreach program supports men, women and children with the required necessities to endure the challenges of being without safe, stable and permanent housing. Many of these individuals do not have the support of family and friends, which leads to hopelessness. The Potter's Wheel Ministry not only provides nutritional meals, supplies such as clothes, soap, toothpaste; but, also builds hope, strength and faith through prayer.,
